  • Group Exercise Classes

    Group Exercise classes at the Y make fitness fun, social, and motivating. Led by certified instructors, our classes offer something for everyone, whether you’re building strength, improving endurance, enhancing flexibility, or just getting moving with friends. From high-energy cardio workouts to calming mind-body sessions, group exercise at the YMCA helps you stay active, inspired, and connected in a supportive community setting.

     

  • Complementary Customized Support

    Fitness Orientations are a great way to start your wellness journey with confidence. Meet one-on-one with a certified Health and Wellness Instructor who will help you identify your goals, create a personalized fitness plan, and connect you to the right equipment, classes, and programs. During your session, you’ll learn how to use each machine safely and effectively so you feel comfortable and empowered every time you visit the Y. Best of all, it’s completely free for members! Visit the front desk to set up your free Fitness Orientation.

  • Youth Fitness

    At the Y, we believe healthy habits start early, and Y Kids Play makes fitness fun from the start! Through movement, games, and teamwork, kids build strength, coordination, and confidence while having a blast.

    Beyond Y Kids Play, families can explore a variety of ways to stay active together, including our Indoor Rockwall, basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, and family fitness events, all included with membership.

    Youth can also use cardio equipment starting at age 8, circuit equipment at 13, and free weights at 15. With a complimentary Youth Fitness Orientation, children and teens learn to exercise safely and feel confident using the equipment.

    For even more personalized guidance, our certified wellness coaches can create a custom training plan tailored to your child’s needs, helping them stay active, healthy, and motivated while having fun.

     

  • Pickleball

    Pickleball at the YMCA is a fun, fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It’s played on a smaller court with a paddle and a plastic ball, making it easy to learn and perfect for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re looking for a friendly match, a competitive game, or just a great way to stay active, the Y offers a welcoming environment to play, connect, and improve your skills. Come join the pickleball community at the Y and experience the fun, fitness, and friendships that make this game so popular! Free for members.

     

  • Personal Training

    At the Y, we offer one-on-one personal training for all fitness levels and wellness goals. All training options include a physical assessment and ongoing coaching sessions with a certified personal trainer to get you feeling comfortable and confident. Personal training is a great way to jumpstart your fitness journey. 30 and 60-minute options are available, along with training packages or a convenient monthly recurring option.

     

  • Senior Programs

    At the Y, there are no strangers, only friends you haven’t met yet. While you improve your health and mobility through our fitness programs, you’ll also make new friends and find opportunities to strengthen the social fabric of your community. The YMCA of Southern Nevada offers a wide range of activities for active older adults, including social events, field trips, workshops, team training for seniors, pickleball, low-impact fitness classes, and much more.

     

  • Wexer Virtual Fitness

    Located at the Centennial Hills YMCA, the Wexer Virtual Fitness player has hundreds of on-demand fitness classes for all ages and fitness levels. Classes include a variety of Les Mills options, strength training, cycling, yoga, pilates, and much more. The virtual player is available for members at no charge during all operating hours. Equipment is available for each class in the Virtual Fitness Studio. Classes are available January-Mid-May and Mid-August-December.

     

  • Choose to Lose

    We believe even small lifestyle changes can lead to great results and the community you’ll find at the Y can be a powerful force in helping you achieve those results. In this program, you will exercise in a small group with a certified personal trainer twice per week for 12 weeks – but that’s not all! You’ll meet on the third day with your group for nutrition tips and skills to help you make lasting lifestyle changes.

     

  • Team Training

    These small group training sessions, for ages 18+, with our certified personal trainers, will push you to your limits. Small group training is great for accountability, group and personalized attention, specialized equipment, and higher intensity than group exercise classes. Join our group training to increase your motivation and have your group members help push you to reach your goals. An unlimited monthly pass and drop-in options are available.

     

  • Steam, Sauna and Therapeutic Massage

    Work hard and recover! Incorporating rest and recovery is an essential part of a holistic wellness routine. Relax with a Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage by a certified therapist. Enjoy add-on services like Infrared Heat Lamp, Hot Stones, and/or Aromatherapy for an additional small fee. Men’s and Women’s steam rooms and saunas are available for members at the Heinrich YMCA. One membership gives access to all four locations.

     

  • Take a Hike

    Take a Hike works with the National and State Parks and rangers in the greater Las Vegas area and beyond to bring youth, seniors, and families into our public lands. The program is centered on the elements of recreation, conservation, and service. Get outdoors, stay active, and have fun. All hikes are free of charge, and all fitness levels are welcome.

     

  • Wellness Workshops

    Improve your total spirit, mind, and body at the Y. All YMCA locations offer free wellness workshops covering a variety of topics from healthy eating, improving mobility, reducing stress, and much more. Reach out to your local branch for topics, dates, and times.

LIVESTRONG at the Y

In partnership with the LIVESTRONG Foundation, the YMCA has developed a small-group cancer survivorship program for those who are living with, through or beyond cancer.

Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring

High blood pressure affects one in three American adults and increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. The YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program helps participants take control of their health.

Diabetes Prevention

Forming healthy habits can be hard without a support system. We're here to give you the encouragement you need to eat better, increase your physical activity and lose weight which can delay or prevent diabetes

Enhance Fitness

Enhance Fitness is an evidence-based group exercise program designed for older adults, particularly those w/ arthritis & limited mobility. It aims to improve physical function, balance, strength, & flexibility
